Second Pass LLC ("Second Pass," "we," "us") builds a small family of software apps. This policy explains how we handle information across our company website and, at a summary level, across our apps. Each app may publish its own, more detailed privacy policy covering how that specific app works; where one exists, it governs that app.
This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics beyond what's needed to keep it running securely. If you email us, we keep that correspondence to respond to you and for our own records.
If you ask to be notified when an app launches, we use your email address only to send that one launch note. We don’t share it or use it for anything else, and we remove it from the list once the note is sent. You can ask us to remove it sooner at any time by writing to hello@secondpass.me.
What each app collects depends on what it does. Some of our apps are built to process certain information entirely on your device, meaning it's never uploaded to us. Other apps we build may collect standard information such as an email address, sign-in method, purchase history, device or usage data, or diagnostic and analytics data, where that's needed to operate the app, support you, or improve the product. Some apps may also use third-party analytics or advertising services; where that's the case, it will be disclosed in that app's own privacy policy.
Because this can vary from app to app, treat this page as our company-wide baseline and check the specific app's own privacy policy (linked within the app or on its product page) for exactly what that app collects.
We use the limited information we do collect to operate our apps and this website, respond to you, meet legal obligations, and improve what we build. We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with the service providers that help us operate, for example payment processing or cloud infrastructure for account and billing data (never for information that stays on your device), or when required by law.
You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion, subject to what the law requires us to keep.
Our products are not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
